FULL DISCUSSION OF OLD TESTAMENT THEOLOGY

Christian theology generally has a history as old as the history of Christians themselves. The effort to interpret the Scriptures, the effort to think and explain the contents of Christian preaching, and the effort to impose such news at any time and place - these three main departments of scientific theology have always been regarded as a necessity and condition for the life of the Church. Thus, Old Testament Theology is a branch of that endeavor, which has undergone a series of "fates". [1] Thus Old Testament Theology is part of Christian Theology, especially included in Biblical Theology which deals carefully with Old Testament themes, as well as theological issues that exist in the Old Testament Bible. As part of Old Testament Theology, it will appear to function as critical.

Several centuries before the Christian date, the Jews were preoccupied with this science, even though it took place in its own way. Namely by giving priority to the thought of all the commandments and laws of God in the Torah.

The Christian scriptures have two parts: the Old Testament to Jesus Christ and the New Testament to witness His coming. Old Testament theology is a discipline distinct from the historical approach of religion which emphasizes the relationship between the religion of the Israelites and other religions around them. This is what Christians firmly believe in, for there are many very strong reasons for it, which to this day have not been shaken.

Old Testament theology cannot be separated from Biblical Theology, [2] Old Testament theology is tasked with providing brief explanations and interpretations of the final form of separate Old Testament writings or a series of writings that allow for a variety of themes, motives, and conceptions. appears and shows interest in each other's writings.
