Why developing emotional intelligence needs to be developed as a human being. A complete human being is a human being who can develop his emotional and intellectual intelligence. Maturity is determined by developing emotional intelligence. How deep one can wade through life that is the level of one's emotional maturity. How someone is able to manage any form of stimulus that is well organized, in understanding and managing something for the better. There is a saying that "diligent people are better than smart people". Maybe some people still think that to achieve success one must have intelligence related to Intelligence Quotient or IQ. However, in the end the conservative understanding was refuted by the article written by Dr. Travis Bradberry who states that emotional intelligence or Emotional Intelligence (EQ) has a bigger role in a person's success. Emotional intelligence is fundamentally touching human behavior which is clearly different from brain intelligence. It is proven that someone who is emotionally intelligent is able to put himself above a problem, not under a problem. You can't even predict it. Like IQ, about emotional intelligence we can judge it from how smart someone is. Emotional intelligence that a person has affects behavior, social life, and decisions in doing something. Emotional intelligence itself continues to process starting from the age of 15 to 50 years or more which is developed and improved through practice. Although some people naturally have emotional intelligence, you yourself can develop it higher even if you weren't born with it. Emotional intelligence can be seen directly touching the deepest aspects of the human side. Why should our emotions be intelligent? This is because emotional intelligence still continues throughout a person's life. One's title does not enable one to determine emotional intelligence. One's ultimate goal is not success, but the process towards success. According to Travis, people with high emotional intelligence can have several habits, including:
· Positive thinking.
· Able to describe feelings.
· Assertive or able to communicate what is wanted and thought, but still in a polite manner and a sense of empathy for the other person.
· Curiosity to others.
This is our discussion of how to develop proper emotional intelligence. Reflection for us now, whether at our age today, we have been able to develop emotional intelligence intelligently? If you have, let's continue to develop it, but if not, then let's really study to develop it.
