Every couple created by God is different. This difference is unique, in that it complements the pair. Thus, when they unite as husband and wife, their responsibilities will have their respective territories. The following are the 5 related responsibilities in marriage, including:
NATUR
As a unique creation, this nature is related to the design plan of Allah's creation in humans. This nature was created "SIMILAR AND IMAGE" with God (Gen. 1:27). For example, a man is more dominant in using logic, in contrast to a woman who dominantly uses feelings.
· STATUS
As husband and wife also have a unique status. In 1 Corinthians 11: 3, namely that the status of a husband is the head of the family who is more dominant in leading his wife and children in many ways. Thus, the husband's status is as the leader of the family. On the other hand, as a wife, she should be aware of her status as a helper or companion who will always be by her husband's side.
· ROLE
Relating to the role in husband-wife relationships. Husband has a very important role, because it will have an impact on how the fate of the next marriage. This is the role of the husband, namely as a person who will make a decision. Whatever plans will be implemented later, the final decision must be with the husband.
· ABILITIES
With regard to ability, the husband has more ability than his wife in terms of being the "source" of offspring. This husband's ability is needed by his wife in order to bear children. Another role of the husband is also related to the role of doing hard work. A wife also has important abilities, abilities that are not possessed by her husband, namely in terms of conceiving, bearing and breastfeeding children (Gen. 3:16). Thus each has his own abilities that will complement one another (1 Pet. 3: 7).
