5 UNIQUE CHRISTIAN WEDDINGS THAT DIFFERENT WITH OTHER WEDDINGS

            Basically, every marriage has its own uniqueness. This uniqueness will show the difference from the others. This uniqueness is closely related to the advantages of a marriage. The uniqueness of Christian marriage is based on Bible facts or God's Word. For Christians, what are some of these things found in their marriage? The following are some of the uniqueness of Christian marriage, namely:

1. UNITED BY GOD (Matt. 19: 5-8)

            The word "united" by Allah, or To Yoke Together, is an active action taken by Allah. God Himself is the liaison in a marriage. As God joins a marriage, so God will take care of the marriage itself. In this case, the Bible does not condone divorce (Matt. 19: 3-9). This is the first uniqueness.

2. A HETEROGENIC WEDDING (Gen.1: 27-28)

            It is the heterogeneous nature of Christian marriage that the Bible teaches. This trait is very unique and is also very contrary to LGBTQ understanding. Where this understanding is wrong in responding to the marriage call provided by God. The purpose of this Christian marriage is very clear, that is, for the sake of "CHILDREN", meaning that God Himself wants the Christian marriage that He has joined, multiplies and fills the earth.

 

3. MONOGAMI WEDDING (Gen. 2:24)

            In this case it is very clear that a Christian marriage consists of only 1 husband and 1 wife, so that the two become one "flesh". The Bible has made it very clear, by using a single word in the original language, namely "man" and "woman" accompanied by the command "be childish". Thus Christian marriage firmly rejects all forms of polygamy and polity. This is the second uniqueness of Christian marriage.

 

4. A WEDDING, A PLACE OF LIFE (Gen. 2:34)

            In married life, problems cannot be avoided. The word "united" in a marriage can be interpreted as cooperation that must be able to face all kinds of problems, this is the real place to share life. So, the life and death of a marriage is determined from here. Thus Christian marriage is an appropriate place for various joys and sufferings, joys or sorrows, joys and sorrows, etc.
